
Reverend Linda J.
Payne is a God-inspired, spirit-led, and anointed
preacher, teacher, and committed servant of The Most
High God, Church, and the community. She accepted the
Lord Jesus Christ at an early age and later answered the
call to ministry to preach the Gospel of Jesus of
Christ.
Reverend Linda
Payne is a native of Baltimore, Maryland where she
received her early education. She is a graduate of
Coppin State University, where she earned both the
Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management Science and a
Masters of Science Degree in Adult Education and
Administration. She is also a graduate of The Ecumenical
Institute of Theology at St. Mary’s Seminary and
University, having earned the Master of Arts Degree in
Church Ministries and Pastoral Care.
Rev. Payne
preached her initial sermon December, 2002 at the
historic Payne Memorial A.M.E. Church, Baltimore,
Maryland, and is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the
African Methodist Episcopal Church. She seeks to spread
the liberating and transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ
to all mankind, reaching out to the community to meet
the spiritual, educational, and social needs of
individuals and families.
She has served
the church and community in various leadership
capacities to include Chairperson of Women’s Day(s),
Class Leader, President of the Women’s Missionary
Society, Evangelism & Missions work, in addition to
serving as Minister to Family Life, Family Life
Conference(s) Coordinator and Family & Friends Days
Chairperson for the past four years.
Rev. Payne is
employed as an Adult Educator, having taught Adult Basic
Literacy and GED courses at Baltimore City Community
College and currently uses her training and development
skills to provide workforce, career development and
transition training to persons re-entering the workforce
for Anne Arundel Community College.
Civic
affiliations include Golden Life membership in Delta
Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., membership in the Lochearn
Improvement Association, and the NAACP.
She is the
President and Founder of Transforming Life International
Ministries and Outreach that seeks to transform lives
through education, empowerment,
enrichment, evangelism, and by exalting
Christ. The ministry also seeks to assist newly created
and established ministries with design, implementation,
and program evaluation.
She is the wife
of Donald J. Payne, and mother of two children, Tiffany
and Justin.

is a daughter of the Most High God, called to
