Reverend
Linda J. Payne is a God-inspired, spirit-led, and
anointed preacher, teacher, and committed servant of The
Most High God, Church, and the community. She accepted
the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age and later answered
the call to ministry to preach the Gospel of Jesus of
Christ.
Reverend
Linda Payne is a native of Baltimore, Maryland where she
received her early education. She is a graduate of Coppin
State University, having earned both the Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Management Science and a Masters of Science Degree
in Adult Education and Administration. She is also a
graduate of The Ecumenical Institute of Theology at St.
Mary’s Seminary and University, having earned the Master of
Arts Degree in Church Ministries and Pastoral Care.
Rev. Payne
preached her initial sermon December, 2002 at the historic
Payne Memorial A.M.E. Church, Baltimore, Maryland, and was
ordained April, 2006 at the 190th Session of the
Baltimore Annual Conference of the African Methodist
Episcopal Church. She seeks to spread the liberating Gospel
of Jesus Christ to all mankind, reaching out to the
community to meet the spiritual, educational, social needs
of individuals and families.
She has
served the church and community in various leadership
capacities to include Chairperson of Women’s Day, Class
Leader, President of the Women’s Missionary Society,
Evangelism & Missions work, in addition to serving as
Minister to Family Life, Family Life Conference Coordinator
and Family & Friends Day.
Rev. Payne
is employed as an Educator with the Baltimore Schools
System, teaching language arts, reading, and developing
self-esteem.
Civic
affiliations include Golden Life membership in Delta Sigma
Theta Sorority, Inc., and membership in the Lochearn
Improvement Association.
She is the
President and Founder of Transforming Life
International Ministries and Outreach that seeks to
transform lives through education, empowerment, enrichment,
evangelism, and by exalting Christ. The ministry also seeks
to assist newly created and established churches with
designing, implementing, and evaluating new church
ministries.
She is the
wife of Donald J. Payne, and mother of two children, Tiffany
and Justin.

she is a daughter of the Most High God, called to
